What You Need to Know About Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees

Effective August 15th 2010, due to changes in federal regulations, Farmers State Bank of Fulton County will no longer authorize and pay overdrafts on ATM and everyday Debit Card transactions UNLESS YOU OPT-IN and actively choose to continue receiving this service.

The vast majority of our customers do not overdraw their account and incur fees. However, mistakes can happen and overdrafts do occur. Emergencies may happen at inconvenient times. If you do not OPT-IN, your everyday Debit Card transactions and ATM withdrawals will be denied if you do not have sufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction.
